Hold students accountable for their behaviour by implementing fair and logical consequence for inappropriate behaviour and a positive psychology paradigm to create a culture of positivity.
Provide a wellbeing framework to assist students who are experiencing social, emotional, academic or behavioural issues – School Psychologist, Chaplain, Nurse and External Agencies.
Take opportunities to build positive student relationships and fostering positive student behaviour.
Understand that a high level of communication with parents/guardians and the wider community is paramount to student achievement. (i.e a culture of ‘no surprises’).
Utilise classroom management and positive behaviour strategies when managing issues, ensuring they are consultative, educative, restorative, and reflective.
